Algoma came within just a run of capturing their first win on Friday against Sevastopol.

The Pioneers topped the Wolves, 5-4. Sevastopol went on to win the second game by a 2-1 final as well. 

Gibraltar’s Marcus Reinhardt threw a shutout in an 11-0 rout of Oconto. 

Kewaunee downed Peshtigo, 8-5. 

Scores for other area Friday matchups have not been reported as of 6:30 AM Saturday. 

In Saturday games, Sturgeon Bay has a non-conference one with Bonduel, Sevastopol hosts Elkhart LakeGlenbeulah, and Kewaunee has a home non-conference battle with Roncalli. All of these games begin at 11:00 AM.
