With the WIAA playoffs beginning Thursday for area teams, Luxemburg-Casco got one last regular season go-around. The Spartans beat Peshtigo by a 6-1 final score on Tuesday night. The win makes the Spartans final regular season record 6-4 overall. It’ll be a quick turnaround for the Spartans, who take on Shawano on Thursday in the opening round of the WIAA playoffs. The teams will square off with a chance to play Freedom in the following round on Saturday. The scheduled start time is 7:00 PM and the Spartans will host.
