Brewers roll over Reds

After giving up a run in the second inning, the Milwaukee Brewers quickly tightened up in their 5-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds on Tuesday. Avisail Garcia evened the game when he smacked his twelfth homer of the season in the top of the fourth inning. Luis Urias crossed the plate on a fielder's choice RBI from Christian Yelich. 

 

With a 2-1 lead, Avisaii Garcia continued to add to it with an RBI single that scored Jace Pederson. In the top of the seventh. Travis Shaw would pad the lead with a two-RBI double in the top of the ninth, scoring Tyrone Taylor and Omar Narvaez. The final score ended up 5-1 in favor of the Brewers. Milwaukee has another matchup with the Reds on Wednesday at 6:10 PM. 

 

In other baseball news, the Green Bay Booyah were off on Tuesday but will be back Wednesday, hosting the Wisconsin Woodchucks. In minor league action, the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers lost to the South Bend Cubs 7-5.
