Fans getting into Lambeau Field to catch a Packers game this fall will have to be mobile. The Packers organization announced on Friday that they were making the switch from no longer taking paper tickets at the entry gate, but will have people enter as their e-tickets are scanned. In an article from the Packers official website, it states that mobile-only tickets will help ensure safe, secure ticketing at Lambeau Field and help prevent the use of counterfeit tickets. Also noted by the Packers was the success mobile ticketing had during the teams two playoff games this past season. They also cited different industries and area events that successfully made the switch. Commemorative paper tickets will still be sent to season ticket holders.
