Baseball round-up: Brewers' family win

The Milwaukee Brewers and its local affiliate picked up wins on Sunday.

A Luis Urias RBI triple and Avisail Garcia's two-run homer gave the Brewers the lead in the sixth inning in its 5-2 win over the Pittsburgh Pirates. They will stick around Milwaukee to play the Cincinnati Reds.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers scored five runs in the opening frame and held on to beat the South Bend Cubs 7-4 to earn the series split.

The Green Bay Booyah was held scoreless until a Tristin Garcia RBI double in the ninth inning of a 7-1 loss to the Madison Mallards.

In Door County League action, Sister Bay shut out Baileys Harbor 13-0.

High school baseball fans will have to wait until Tuesday for the WIAA Tournament to pick up. Tuesday games include Luxemburg-Casco visiting Denmark, Kewaunee hosting Gibraltar, and Southern Door playing at home against Mishicot.
