Two Kewaunee County schools kept their seasons alive with wins in the WIAA Softball Regional Finals on Wednesday.

Luxemburg-Casco received a complete game, three-hit shut out from Rebecca Kroll as the Spartans rolled to an 8-0 win over Shawano. They will face conference foe Marinette in the sectional semi-final for Division 2 at Luxemburg-Casco on Monday.

Kewaunee nearly saw a 6-1 lead disappear because of a determined Southern Door squad, but captured the regional title 6-4 over the Eagles. The Storm will play conference foe Peshtigo on Monday in Kewaunee.

Algoma saw their season end in extra innings in a 4-3 loss to Iola-Scandanavia at home.
