Baseball trio gets swept

In Friday’s professional and northwoods baseball action, area teams got swept. 

 

The Milwaukee Brewers had a 4-1 lead over the Colorado Rockies after the top of the fifth when they scored three runs. The Brewers wouldn’t hang on as Colorado climbed back on top in extra innings. The Brewers lost 6-5 in the ten-inning contest. The Brewers play the Rockies at 8:10 PM on Saturday.

 

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers dropped their fourth straight to Quad City on Friday. They lost 9-0 and have been outscored 32-9 in those four games. They take on Quad City at 6:30 PM on Saturday. 

 

The Green Bay Booyah fell to the Fon du Lac Dock Spiders by a 12-6 final score. The Booyah play the Kokomo Jackrabbits on Saturday with first pitch scheduled for 5:30 PM.
