Booyah complete game as weather prevents Timber Rattlers

Green Bay competed in a tight contest in Madison, while the forecast had other plans for the Wisconsin Timber-Rattlers. That combined with no Thursday game for the Brewers made for a relatively light day of baseball.

Milwaukee Brewers

The MIlwaukee Brewers will return to the diamond on Friday in hopes of being rejuvenated after a day off. The Brewers will host a series with the Colorado Rockies, with game one starting at 4:10 PM. The Brewers are 42-33 this season while the Rockies are 31-44. Projected pitchers are Corbin Burnes for Milwaukee and Jon Gray for Colorado.

Wisconsin Timber Rattlers

The Timber Rattlers had their game on Thursday with the Peoria Chiefs called early due to weather. The game was suspended in the bottom of the second inning due to weather. At the time, the game was scoreless but the Rattlers did have a runner on third with no outs. The game will resume on Friday at 4:05 PM with a seven-inning game to follow.

Green Bay Booyah

An early lead and two home runs from Max Wagner weren’t enough on Thursday as the Booyah fell to the Madison Mallards by a 7-5 final score. After three innings, the Booyah held a 4-1 lead. Madison would score in the next three innings, in order of two, three, and one. Down 7-4, Green Bay put up another run in the top of the seventh, but that would be all they could muster. With the loss, the Booyah are now 9-16 and will have a second straight road game with the Mallards on Friday, beginning at 6:35 PM.
