For the second year in a row, there are some awfully big connections to the Green Bay Gamblers and Lord Stanley.

Head coach Jon Cooper and assistant coach Derek Lalonde will be on the bench when the Tampa Bay Lightning host the Montreal Canadiens on Monday night. The two coaches both took turns leading the Green Bay Gamblers and both won championships for the organization. John Burkhart (scout) and Brian Garlock (video coach) are also on the Lightning staff.

The Lightning beat the New York Islanders, which featured former Gamblers player Anders Lee and Austin Czarnik.

There are no Gamblers connections on the Canadiens, but Cole Caulfield did finish up his career skating for the Wisconsin Badgers earlier this year before joining Montreal for the stretch run.
