Murphy addresses offseason dates, other looming questions

In the MT5 series where Green Bay Packers CEO Mark Murphy fields questions from fans, he took the time to address a few about how training camp will be handled and the switch to mobile-only ticketing that has been a dilemma for some. Murphy confirmed reports of joint practices being held with the New York Jets in mid-August and also touched on the shareholders meeting set for July 26th being a big off-season night for many fans.

Mark Murphy stated in his letter that training camp will look mostly normal this year, but there still may be some kinks. Murphy brought up one of the traditions people hold dear. Packers riding kids bicycles to training camp practices. Though he didn’t give a final answer, he did say current NFL protocols require players not to be within twenty feet of fans. The letter in which he spoke about subjects around the organization and league can be found here.
