Local athletes making a difference

A handful of football players from Door and Kewaunee counties are preparing for next week's Wisconsin Football Coaches Association All-Star Games by raising money for a great cause.

So far, members of the six All-Star teams have raised over $238,000 for the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. Each player has to raise a minimum amount of money as a participant.

On the Eight-Man South Team, Sevastopol's Logan Beyer has raised $1,070 and Spencer Evenson has collected $750. Gibraltar's Luke Steebs has collected $370. You can donate to your favorite player here. Luxemburg-Casco's Blake Yagodinski has raised $790. You can donate to his profile here.
