The Ahnapee Trailblazers American Legion baseball team is heading to state after a big come-from-behind victory against Pulaski Sunday afternoon in Ashwaubenon.
The Trailblazers were down 8-1 before clawing back to get the 10-8 victory. The team won four straight games after falling to Ashwaubenon 2-1 on Thursday. On Friday they dealt the fatal blow to Kewaunee County in a do-or-die 6-5 victory. On Saturday, they toppled Pulaski 8-4 to set up Sunday's Legion title winner.
The Trailblazers will head to Antigo on July 30th for the American Legion AA State Tournament. Matchups are yet to be announced.
