Brewers power through doubleheader sweep

The Milwaukee Brewers have not had their baseball action go according to schedule this week, but that didn’t stop them from sweeping their rival, the Chicago Cubs, on Tuesday. In the first game of the doubleheader at Wrigley Field, the Brewers won 4-2. In game one, Willy Adames, Avisail Garcia, and Lorenzo Cain each hit a home run.

The Brewers were also victorious in game two, winning 6-3 and scoring all six runs in the top of the fifth inning. In that inning, Milwaukee got RBIs from Jackie Bradley, Christian Yelich, Omar Narvaez, Eduardo Escobar, Rowdy Tellez, and Luis Urias. Each of the two games were seven innings long. The Brewers will be back in action on Wednesday at Wrigley Field to face the Cubs. First pitch will be thrown at 7:05 PM.
