Packers drop second preseason game; Benkert impresses

In a preseason football game on Saturday against the New York Jets, Green Bay Packers quarterback Kurt Benkert got to run the show for the majority of the 23-14 loss. The Packers got touchdowns on a Kylin Hill run from the red zone and another red zone touchdown on a connection from Benkert to Jace Sternberger. The Packers defense while still making adjustments to new defensive coordinator Joe Barry’s scheme, got a taste for number two overall draft pick Zach Wilson, who had two passing touchdowns. The Packers are now 0-2 in the preseason and have their final preseason game with the Buffalo Bills on Saturday at noon.
