With Tuesday’s cut day, NFL teams scrambled to fill out their roster of reserves on Wednesday. Players who didn’t make the 53-man roster and cleared waivers were eligible for open practice squad spots. The Packers signed 16 to theirs, most notably quarterback Kurt Benkert, who was a summer fan favorite.
