It took a few tries, but the San Francisco Giants were able to beat the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday, 5-1. The Giants scored in the first inning and Milwaukee tied the game in the top of the fourth with a Jace Peterson single that scored Luis Urias. In the bottom of the eighth the Giants put up four runs to seal the victory. Milwaukee is now 82-53 and they play the St. Louis Cardinals on Friday at home, with the first pitch being thrown at 7:10 PM.
