The Milwaukee Brewers beat the Cleveland Indians 10-3 on Friday, in large part to a 6-run fifth inning. Kolten Wong scored a run on an error in the top of the first inning, but Cleveland scored two runs in the bottom half to take over the game. The take-over would only last until the fourth inning, when Luis Urias hit a two-run home run to go up 3-2.
In the fifth inning, Eduardo Escobar got the first of two home runs with a solo shot. Urias got a run on a catchers interference and Avisail Garcia also scored on the play. With the bases loaded, Lorenzo Cain came through with a grand slam to put Milwaukee on top, 9-2. Escobar made the score 10-2 with his second home run of the night in the sixth inning. Cleveland scored one run in the eighth inning but that would be all for the night. The Brewers record is now 87-55 and they play Cleveland again at 5:10 PM on Saturday.
