After having a career game with four touchdowns, Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones was missing just one piece when he left the field on Monday night. After the 35-17 win over the Detroit Lions where Jones had 115 total yards and four scores, he confirmed that a medallion worn around his neck during the game containing ashes from his father was lost in the endzone after one of his touchdowns.
Jones told reporters after the game that he knows his father, who passed away in April, is happy because if it was to be lost anywhere, the endzone would be the place to lose it. Jones confirmed by Tuesday morning that Packers trainer, Bryan Engel found the memorial piece at 1:45 AM on Tuesday morning. Jones added through his Twitter account that he’s forever grateful for the trainer’s effort.
