The Green Bay Gamblers continued their preparations for the upcoming regular season this weekend when they played two games in Pittsburgh’s UPMC Rink. The Gamblers won their first game against the Waterloo Blackhawks on Thursday, 5-2. Damien Carfagna scored two goals in the win over Waterloo. Green Bay also came back in the game from being down 2-1. The Gamblers fell to the Des Moines Buccaneers on Friday, 6-2. Green Bay opens their regular season at home in the Resch Center against the Dubuque Fighting Saints on October 2nd.
