The Green Bay Packers made two roster moves on Tuesday. The Packers placed defensive lineman Tyler Lancaster on the reserve/COVID-19 list and signed tight end Tyler Davis off the Indianapolis practice squad. Davis, who was a 2020 sixth-round pick by the Jacksonville Jaguars, was added to the 53-man roster and could be active for Sunday’s game against Pittsburg.
The 6’4 and 250 pounds Davis provides added depth to a tight end crew for the Packers that like to utilize their tight ends as blockers in the backfield. Lancaster was placed on the reserve list which means he either tested positive for COVID-19 or has been in “close contact” with an infected person or persons.
