Ryan Zuelke is out as Southern Door head football coach after serving the role since 2018.

Southern Door Superintendent Chris Peterson told NEW Radio Sports Network Wednesday afternoon that Zuelke was placed on administrative leave pending an investigation. Peterson would not comment on the incident that caused investigation, only saying it was nothing criminal. After it was determined that there was no fault on Zuelke's part, the head coach still opted to resign from his post. Peterson called the split amicable by both parties.

Ben Kline will keep his interim head coach tag through the end of the season.

In other Southern Door football news, the Eagles had one game canceled and one put in its place after Peshtigo was forced to call off Friday's matchup. The Eagles will now travel to Marshall Friday night for a 7 p.m. kick. The game will be broadcast on 104.1 WRLU beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show hosted by Matthew Frea and Reece Robillard.
