The Luxemburg-Casco cross country team will now prepare for the WIAA State Series after hosting the NEC Championships on Friday.
The Spartans boys finished in third place as a team with Gabe Havel leading the way with a time of 17:24 on the 5K course. The team scored 72 points, 40 points behind first-place Little Chute.
The Spartans girls took fourth overall with Lydia Morozov running a personal record of 21:20 in the 5K race. The girls scored 125 points, just over 100 points behind first place Freedom.
