Two area teams will be moving on to WIAA sectional volleyball action on Thursday, as Luxemburg-Casco and Sevastopol won easily to claim regional championships and move on.

The Luxemburg-Casco Spartans swept the Seymour Thunder iin three games (25-19, 25-4, 25-18) Saturday night to win a Divisional 2 regional championship in Luxemburg.  Emma Johnson had 20 assists while Autumn Flynn-provided 10 kills.  Grace Holschuh added 7 kills and 6 digs, and Brooke Vande Hei contributed 11digs. 

Luxemburg-Casco (38-5) will now play Fox Valley Lutheran in a Sectional semi-final on Thursday.

In Division 4 action, Sevastopol swept Almond-Bancroft 25-9, 25-11, and 25-12  to win the regional championship. The Pioneers will now host Hilbert in a sectional semi-final match.
