The Sturgeon Bay soccer team will have to go through a familiar opponent to advance to Saturday's sectional final when they host Kiel on Thursday night.

The Clippers made it to the sectional round by the slimmest of margins thanks to Spencer Hubbard, Ben Luders, Ben Hooker and Robert Alas all finding the back of the net during their penalty kicks when their regional final matchup against Peshtigo ended in regulation and overtime tied 3-3. Kiel shut out Winnebago Lutheran in its regional final last Saturday. The two teams played in late September with the Clippers taking that matchup between the two undefeated conference foes 7-2.

NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com and 96.7 WBDK will carry the match live beginning at 6:30 p.m. with the pregame show followed by kickoff at 7 p.m. The winner advances to the sectional final where they will either face St. Lawrence Seminary or Sheboygan Christian/Sheboygan Lutheran at 4 p.m. in Kiel.
