Local teams went 1-1 in their sectional semi-final matches on Thursday.

Luxemburg-Casco set winning streak went over 45 as they swept Fox Valley Lutheran 3--0 to advance to the sectional final on Saturday. The Spartans will play Mosinee for the title, who won in five sets over Waupaca.

Sevastopol saw their season come to a close on Thursday with a five-set loss to Hilbert. Their season ends with an impressive 29-8 record.
