Gambler clobber Caps on the road, return home on 104.1 WRLU

The Green Bay Gamblers started the front end of a home-and-home series with the Madison Capitols with a 5-2 victory Friday night.

 

Jackson Hallum got things started in the first period with his tenth goal of the season before the Gamblers and the Capitols would trade goals in the second. The Gamblers would exit the frame up 4-2 thanks to goals from Nicholas VanTassell, Matt Deboer, and John Mittelstadt. Luke Weilandt would end the scoring for both teams with his first goal of the season just over two minutes into the third period. Aaron Randazzo picked up the victory with 31 saves on 33 shots.

 

The Gamblers and the Capitols will head to the Resch Center Saturday afternoon for a 3:05 p.m. Tobin Meyer will have the call on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
