Badgers roll over Rutgers

The Wisconsin Badgers dominated and overmatched the Rutgers Scarlet Knights 52-3 in Big Ten Conference football on Saturday in New Jersey.  Graham Mertz threw for 240 yards and three touchdowns and Braelon Allen continued his impressive rushing attack with 129 yards on just 15 carries and adding a touchdown.

The #21 Badgers scored 45 unanswered points and the defense recorded two sacks while holding the Scarlet Knights to one for 11 on third down and one for four on fourth down conversions.

Wisconsin (6-3 overall, 4-2 Big Ten) will now play Northwestern next week while still controlling their own destiny in the Big Ten West championship race.
