Bucks honored at White House before game vs. Philly

The Milwaukee Bucks had to make an important stop on Monday before its Tuesday night match-up against the Philadelphia 76ers.

The Bucks spent Monday visiting the White House as the Biden Administration hosted the team to celebrate their NBA championship last season. Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke at the event as the Finals MVP and the organization presented President Joe Biden with a personalized Bucks jersey.

The Bucks will play in Philadelphia for a matchup against the 76ers, which is coming off a pair of wins against a much improved Chicago Bulls and a loss Monday to the New York Knicks. Both teams are shorthanded thanks to COVID-19 protocols and injuries. The Bucks themselves are coming off a 101-94 loss to the Washington Wizards, the first of their five-game road trip away from the Fiserv Forum. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 29 points and 18 rebounds in the loss. Grayson Allen added 19 points and Bobby Portis chipped in 13 points and 13 rebounds.

Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
