The Door County United Girls Swim Team competed in the Division 1 Sectional meet in Neenah on Saturday, November 6th. The sectional team consisted of Phoebe Bissen (SBHS), Christy Braun (SBHS), Caitlyn Hasenjager (SEV), Isabella Jimenez Seyfer (SBHS), Julia Michalski (SHBS), Gaby Moreno (SBHS), Danica Neville (SDHS), Cassie Rankin (SEV), Anika Steinbach (SEV), Brooke Strege (SDHS), Sanya Wienke (SBHS). The team finished 7th overall out of 13 overall teams. Phoebe Bissen finished 9th overall in the 50 yard free and 17th overall in the 100 Fly. Gaby Moreno Finished 18th overall in the 50-yard freestyle and 23rd overall in the 100-yard freestyle. Danica Neville finished 10th overall in the 100 breaststroke and 18th overall in the 200 yard IM. The 200-yard freestyle relay, consisting of Phoebe Bissen, Sanya Weinke, Danica Neville, and Cassie Rankin finished 5th overall, just shy of qualifying for state. Christy Braun finished 5th overall in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:11.63, allowing her to qualify for state on Saturday, November 13th.
