Connaughton plays long ball in win over Knicks

Pat Connaughton hit seven three-pointers to lead the Milwaukee Bucks past the New York Knicks 112-100 Wednesday night.

The Bucks needed every one of those three-pointers too as they nearly blew a 24 point lead a week after losing a contest where they had a 21 point lead against the same Knicks team. Connaughton and Grayson Allen hit five three-pointers in the final minutes to reopen the lead they lost to win the game. Connaughton led the Bucks with 23 points while Jrue Holiday scored 18 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo added 15 points. Antetokounmpo nearly had a triple-double as he also collected 15 rebounds and eight assists. Derrick Rose scored 22 points off the bench in the loss for the Knicks.

The Bucks continue their East Coast swing Friday night when they face the Boston Celtics.
