Bucks fall to Hawks for second straight loss

A motivated Atlanta Hawks team cruised past the Milwaukee Bucks Sunday, toppling their Eastern Conference rivals 120-100 at the State Farm Center.

Trae Young led the Hawks with 42 points and narrowly missed a triple-double with 10 assists and eight rebounds. The win snapped a six-game losing streak for the Hawks. A day after missing a game because he sprained his ankle, Giannis Antetokounmpo led the Bucks with a 26-point performance. Jrue Holiday scored 19 points and Grayson Allen added 18 points in the loss.

The Bucks will get some of their fire power back when they welcome the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday to kick off a five-game homestand. That is when Khris Middleton is scheduled to come off the COVID-19 list after missing the last week-plus.
