The Wisconsin Badgers can stay in the driver's seat in the Big Ten West if they can beat Nebraska when the Cornhuskers visit Camp Randall for a 2:30 p.m. tilt.
Running back Braelon Allen has been a catalyst for the Badgers during their current six-game winning streak. He has rushed for at least 100 yards in those games, including last week's decisive 35-7 win over Northwestern. The Cornhuskers had last week off, but have kept every game close including a 26-17 loss to Ohio State and a 25-23 defeat to Purdue.
The Badgers have to win to keep ahead of their Big Ten West foes. Iowa plays Illinois on the road and is currently tied with the Badgers, though it is Wisconsin with the tiebreaker. Purdue is a game back and plays Northwestern at Wrigley Field Saturday. The Badgers have the tiebreaker over the Boilermakers as well. Minnesota is a game back and plays Indiana on the road at 2:30 p.m. The Badgers will play the Golden Gophers for Paul Bunyan's Axe next week.
