Badgers outlast Cornhuskers

The Wisconsin Badgers remain in control of their destiny after beating the Nebraska Cornhuskers 35-28 in Madison.

The seesaw affair once again had Braelon Allen stealing the show. He had over 100 yards and a score at the end of the first half with the score tied 14-14. Allen would end the day with 223 yards and three touchdowns on just 22 carries. It was his 53-yard touchdown rush with under four minutes to go in the game that propelled the Badgers to their sixth consecutive win.  Graham Mertz threw for one touchdown while it was Stephan Bracey that put the Camp Randall faithful into a frenzy with a 92-yard kickoff return for a touchdown on the first play of the game. Adrian Martinez scored twice but also threw two picks in the game for the Cornhuskers.

A trip to Indianapolis is on the line next week when they battle Minnesota for Paul Bunyan's Axe.
