Two local teams will chase off those Thanksgiving calories with games on Friday.

The Southern Door girls' basketball team will kick off its holiday tournament at Denmark against the host team at 7:30 p.m.

The Algoma boys' basketball team will go back to school for a 7:30 p.m. tip against Palmyra-Eagle.
