The Green Bay Gamblers' struggles continued Wednesday night at the Resch Center, falling to the Dubuque Fighting Saints 7-4.
It was 4-0 before the Gamblers got on the scoreboard in the second period when Matt Deboer scored his fourth goal of the season on the power play. John Mittelstadt cut the lead in half just five minutes later when he scored his sixth goal of the season.
With the score 5-2 in the third period, Alex Servagno scored a pair of goals to make it a one-goal game with nine minutes remaining. Kenny Connors took the drama out of it for the Fighting Saints, scoring the game's final two goals including an empty netter.
