Badgers capture Maui Invitational title

The Wisconsin Badgers basketball team will return to Madison with a little extra hardware after winning the Maui Invitational on Wednesday.

The Badgers had to come back from seven points at halftime to beat St. Mary's 61-55.  Jonathan Davis led the way with 20 points and seven rebounds while Tyler Wahl chipped in 18 points.

The game was close in the first 10 minutes of the game, but the Gaels were able to hold off the Badgers enough to build a comfortable lead at the break. The tide didn't begin to turn until about nine minutes into the second half when they were able to get the deficit down to just two. Wahl and Davis took over from there to turn the six-point halftime deficit into a six-point victory.

The Badgers are back in action on December 1st when they battle Georgia Tech.
