Big second period breaks Gamblers' losing streak on 104.1 WRLU

The Green Bay Gamblers scored three times in the second period to break their 0-for-November streak, beating Team USA 5-2 at the Resch Center Friday night. 

 

The Gamblers were down two to nothing in the first period when Cameron VanSickle cut the lead in half with a goal to make it 2-1. The Gamblers broke the game open in the decisive second period with Cameron Lund, VanSickle, and Matt Deboer scoring to make it 4-2 at the end of two.  In the closing moments of the game, Alex Servango added his own goal on the empty net.  Rastislav Elias secured the victory with 22 saves on 24 shots.

 

The Gamblers and Team USA battle again at 7:05 p.m. at the Resch Center on Saturday. Tobin Meyer will have the call on 104.1 WRLU and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
