The Southern Door girls' basketball team and the Algoma boys' basketball team had mixed results on Friday while two teams have the maiden voyage of the 2021-2022 season on Saturday.

Carter Zimmerman matched Palmyra-Eagle's output as the Wolves won their game 68-27. The Gibraltar boys' will take their crack at Palmyra-Eagle on Saturday in Fish Creek at 1 p.m.

The Eagles could not keep up with Valders in their 54-36 loss in the Denmark Tournament opener. They will play either Two Rivers or Denmark Saturday.

Kewaunee's boys' team will play at Wrightstown at 7:15 p.m. for their season opener.
