All of the local teams will face stiff competition in wrestling action on Saturday.

Southern Door will get its first taste of action this season when it heads to Stratford. In addition to the host school, the Eagles will also face Wausau East, Barron Area Schools, Phillips, and Crandon. Wrestling begins at 9 a.m.

Kewaunee and Sturgeon Bay/Sevastopol have the opportunity to wrestle against each other when they head to Kimberly. Other teams competing in the tournament include Grafton, Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah, Amery, Appleton North, Ashwaubenon, Berlin, Coleman, Dodgeland, Freedom, Green Lake/Princeton, Kewaunee, Manitowoc Lincoln, Merrill, and Sun Prairie East. Wrestling begins there at 8 a.m.

Luxemburg-Casco will host a series of dual meets beginning at 9 a.m. They will welcome Bay Port, Holmen, Oshkosh West, Port Washington and Sheboygan Falls.
