The Kewaunee Storm showed Friday why they may be one of the top teams in the Packerland Conference for girls' basketball.

The Storm cruised past Gibraltar 72-20 with three players scoring in double figures including 23 from Taylor Schleis. Andie Schar got nine points in the loss for the Vikings.

Algoma outscored NEW Lutheran 27-19 in the second half to capture the 45-37 victory. Ryley Zimmerman scored 17 points to lead the Wolves. 

Sturgeon Bay gave up 54 first-half points in an 84-38 defeat to Oconto.

Taylor Jandrin was named the new head coach for Southern Door ahead of their game against Peshtigo.
