Bucks torch Heat

Playing without six players including Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Milwaukee Bucks had little trouble defeating the Miami Heat at Fiserv Forum Saturday night with a 124-102.  Miami was without Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo and could only manage to shoot 40 percent from the field.

The Bucks took a 34-23 lead after one quarter and never were seriously challenged after that.  Pat Connaughton had 23 points and Khris Middleton added 22 more, as the Bucks built a 31 point lead at one point in the second half.  Bobby Portis chipped in 19 points and 16 rebounds while bringing his usual energy to the court.  Miami (14-10) was led by Max Strus with 25 points.

Milwaukee (15-9) will now play host to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night with tip scheduled for 7 pm.
