The Green Bay Gamblers avenged Friday’s loss to the Madison Capitols with a convincing 6-2 win on Saturday on the New Radio Sports Network and 104.1 WRLU.
Alex Servagno scored at the 5:05 mark of the first period and the Gamblers never trailed all night. In the second period, Jackson Hallum, Carter Batchelder, and Cameron Lund scored goals and the Gambers took a commanding 4-0 lead.
Madison scored two goals to close the gap to 4-2 going into the third period, but Brody Lamb struck back along with Lund’s second goal to close out the scoring for the Gamblers. In the net, Rastislav Elias had a stellar night with 38 saves for Green Bay.
The Gamblers and Capitols will face off again on Thursday night in Madison starting at 7:05 pm.
