Kewaunee wrestling visits Kiel

The Kewaunee wrestling team gets back to work Tuesday night when they travel to Kiel for a dual meet.

The last time the Storm took the mat, Logan Steinhorst won the first tournament title of the year for Kewaunee on Friday night. A third-period pin of Two Rivers' Justin Klinkner clinched the Neenah title at 170 pounds for Steinhorst while Max Severin lost his championship bid in a 9-7 decision to Burlington's Austin Reeseman at 145 pounds. The Storm finished in sixth place with just under 85 points. They lost their last dual to Green Bay United 39-36 last week, though they won four of the six contested matches.

Kiel has six ranked wrestlers compared to four for Kewaunee. The top ranked wrestlers for each team are Kiel's Eyan Desselier (2nd, 132 pounds) and Kewaunee's Mitchell Thompson (3rd, 195 pounds)

The dual is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
