Algoma boys head to Peshtigo for post-holiday battle

The gifts have been opened and boys' basketball is back in action with a Packerland matchup on Monday featuring Algoma and Peshtigo.

Algoma is in the middle of a three-game losing streak, although they have lost their last two games by a total of just three points. The Wolves held a one-point advantage of its 61-59 loss to Oconto last week. Carter Zimmerman scored 23 points and Owen Robertson added 17 points in the loss. Landon Lemke and Kaine Fort have both been averaging over 12 points a game as they have led the Bulldogs of Peshtigo to a 6-0. That includes a 59-52 win over Sturgeon Bay in their last game.

Gametime is set for 5:30 p.m.
