Girls' basketball round-up: Algoma fights off Eagles, L-C travels to Freedom

The Algoma Wolves had to survive a furious comeback by the Southern Door Eagles to highlight girls' basketball action on Monday night.

 

The Eagles nearly came back from a 31-15 halftime deficit, but the Wolves held on to win 53-48. 

 

Kewaunee knocked down one of the conference's other early leaders with a 47-27 win.

 

Sturgeon Bay could not muster much offense in its 57-18 loss to Two Rivers.

 

Sevastopol's game against Gibraltar was postponed.

 

In Tuesday girls' basketball action, Luxemburg-Casco makes the trip to Freedom.
