Clippers look to avoid 5th straight loss against Green Bay East

The Sturgeon Bay boys’ basketball team will be traveling to take on Green Bay East in non conference play on Thursday.

The Clippers are coming off of a loss to conference rival Southern Door and are looking to avoid losing their fifth game in a row on Thursday. Sturgeon Bay was without leading scorer Isaak Aune against the Eagles and will hopefully be getting him back in the near future. Danny Lodl led the Clippers against the Eagles with 17, while Chris Lodl had 10.

Isaak Aune is leading the Clipper offense averaging 12 points a game and Preston Newton is the other Sturgeon Bay player averaging double figures with 11.

Tip is set for 7:00 PM from Green Bay East High School.

Vikings travel to take on Falcons

The Gibraltar boys’ basketball team will travel to Pembine to take on the Goodman-Pembine Falcons in non conference play on Thursday.

The Vikings are coming off of a hard fought loss against Packerland Conference opponent Peshtigo who is undefeated in conference play so far this season, and are looking to get their momentum back with a win over the Falcons. Gibraltar is being led by senior Sam Lindenberg who had 16 against Peshtigo on Tuesday, and is averaging 22 points per game this season. Jake Schar is the next leading scorer for the Vikings averaging 8 points per game.

Tip is set for 7:15 PM from Pembine High School.
