The Luxemburg-Casco Spartan boys basketball team will host the Freedom Irish in a North Eastern Conference game Thursday night. The Spartans (2-3, 4-5 overall) are coming off a heartbreaking loss at Little Chute Monday, losing to the Mustangs 38-37. Freedom (4-1, 8-2 overall) is tied for second place in the conference and hammered Clintonville 51-33 on Monday night.
The Irish are led by Landon VanCalster who is averaging 18.6 points per game, while the Spartans’ Peyton Mrotek is scoring 17.9 points.
Matt Piesler and Paul Schmitt will have the call with the pregame set for 6:30 pm on 96.7 FM WBDK and tip off shortly after 7 pm from Luxemburg-Casco High School. The game will also be streamed on New Radio Sports Network.
