Badgers beat Hawkeyes for back to back Big Ten wins

The Wisconsin Badgers Mens’ basketball team went up against the Iowa Hawkeyes in Big Ten Conference play on Thursday night and won by a final score of 87-78.

The Wisconsin offense was firing on all cylinders last night as they took a 13 point lead into the halftime break. Iowa would actually outscore Wisconsin in the second half, but it was not enough to dig themselves out of the hole the Badgers put them in. Johnny Davis once again led the Badger offense playing 35 of the 40 minutes and posting 26 points. The Badgers had 4 other players post double figures including Brad Davison (18), Tyler Wahl (16), Steven Crowl (12), and Chucky Hepburn (11).

The Badgers will continue conference play on Sunday January 9th as they travel to take on Maryland with tip set for 6:30 p.m.
