Badgers narrowly escape Terrapins

The Wisconsin Badgers traveled to Maryland on Sunday to take on the Maryland Terrapins in Big Ten Conference play. 

 

The Badgers had to hold off the Maryland Terrapins on Sunday night despite getting out to a 21 point lead during the game. The Badgers did manage to beat the Terrapins 70-69 to extend their current winning streak to 5 games. Tyler Wahl scored a career high 21 points, while Johnny Davis added 19. 

 

The Terps were led by Eric Ayala who scored 19 points with all of those points being scored in the second half. 

 

Wisconsin will now face #13 Ohio State who beat Wisconsin the first time around. Tip is set for 6:00 p.m. from the Kohl Center in Madison.
