The Green Bay Gamblers scored two goals in each period to get past the Team USA U-18 squad 6-3 in Michigan.
Team USA struck first in the first period, only to have four unanswered goals scored by the Gamblers' Ryan Greene and John Mittelstadt in the first and Cameron Lund and Carter Batchelder in the second.
Team USA would narrow that lead in third with a pair of goals in the first 10 minutes. The Gamblers would build their lead up again with Nicholas VanTassell answering Cooley's goal 30 seconds later and Alex Servagno scoring the empty netter. Aaron Randazzo marked his return to the lineup with 28 saves on 31 shots faced.
The Gamblers will now turn their attention to Muskegon, who beat the U-17 squad for Team USA 7-2. Puck drop is set for 6:10 p.m.
